Piotr Kosarga was born in 21-th November 1991 in Opole. When he was seven he started education in Music School in Opole. Since 2000-th he learned under Janusz Gajownik. In 2010 he graduated Music School. At the moment he’s a student at Academy of Music in Poznan in Marcin Baranowski class. Since 2000-th he take part in numerous competitions and get prizes and special mentions:

2. Participation at Finale stage at 1st and 4th International Georg Philipp Telemann Music Competition in Poznan-2004, 2007
3. Distinction at XXVIII, XXX, XXXII All –polish Bach Violin Competition in Zielona Gora- 2002, 2004, 2006
4. 2nd Prize at V All-Polish “Young Paganini” Violin Competition in Legnica-2007
5. 1st Prize at V Swidnica Young Violinist Festival- 2003
6. 1st Prize at Wielkopolski Violin Competition in Poznan -2004
7. 2nd Prize at 1st and 2nd Young Violin Tournament in Nysa -2003, 2004
8. 3rd Prize at 2nd Tadeusz Wronski Youth Violin Competition for violin solo in Tomaszow Mazowiecki -2008
9. Distinction at the All-Polish audition for Violinists in Elblag – 2008
10. 2nd Prize at 5th Forum of Young Instrumentalists in Rybnik – 2009
11. 3rd Prize at XXV All-Polish Bach Violin Competition in Zielona Gora-2009
12. First Absolute Prize at the 21st Young Musician International Competition - "Citta di Barletta" Italy 2011
13. 4th Prize at VIII St. Serwaczynski All-Polish Competition for Young Violinists in Lublin 2011 Poland
Piotr also atteneded Masterclasses in Goch (Germany), Lancut, Baloszyce, Kudowa Zdroj, Konstancin. He worked with: prof. prof. Georg Michael, Jadwiga Kaliszewska, Wanda Wilkomirska, Krzysztof Jakowicz, Robert Szreder, Janusz Gajownik. He gives concerts in the USA (Virginia), Germany and Poland. He has been awarded scholarship by President of Opole City, Foundation “Otwarta Filharmonia Agrafki Muzycznej”. In 2009 he received title “Prymus Opolszczyzny” by Marshall of the Opolskie Province.
