Stanislaw Podemski
He was born on 21.10.1991 in Olesnica.
From 1998 to 2004 he attended the F. Chopin State Primary Music
School in Olesnica, where his teachers of violin were Maria
Peters M.A. and later Andrzej Woznica M.A. He graduated with
honours. From 2004 to June 2008 he attended the Karol Szymanowski
Secondary Music School in Wroclaw, learning the violin with
Andrzej Woznica. In September 2008 he started to study with
Prof. Marcin Baranowski at the Secondary Music School in Poznan
(Talents’ School). Since October 2010 he has been studying with the same Professor at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan.
Already in 2002 he started to take part regularly in numerous
competitions and auditions winning prizes and honourable mentions.
These include:
1. Janina Garscia National Violin Competition in Stalowa Wola
(Honourable Mention – 2002)
2. Grazyna Bacewicz National Violin Competition in Wroclaw (Honourable
Mention – 2004)
3. International Chamber Music Festival in Olesnica (2nd Prize
– 2005)
4. S. Hajzer National Violin Competition in Zielona Gora (3rd
Prize – 2006)
5. Scholarship of the Dolnoslaskie Province Marshall after the
National Violin Competition Young Paganini in Legnica 2007
6. Karol Szymanowski and Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst International
Violin Competition in Wroclaw (Honourable Mention – 2007)
7. National Auditions of Secondary Music School Students in
Elblag (3rd Prize – 2008).

9. 1st Prize at the International Violin Compedtition Citta di Padova - Italy 2010
10. 2nd Prize at the International Violin Competition Premio Virtuosite in Padova - Italy 2010
11. 2nd Prize at VIII St. Serwaczynski All-Polish Competition for Young Violinists in Lublin 2011 Poland
Moreover, he took part in courses and workshops in Lancut, Jelenia
Gora, Szklarska Poreba, Busko Zdroj, Warsaw and Goch (Germany)
with such professors as Walentyna Jakubowska, Georg Michel,
Marcin Baranowski and Bartosz Bryla. He toured Poland, Germany
and Austria. He was awarded scholarship of the Dolnoslaskie
Marshall three times and scholarship of the Dolnoslaskie Music
Association.
